Slough Trail, a 24" x 20" original oil painting by Michele Hausman, was juried into the Triton Museum of Art's Statewide Painting Competition & Exhibition. The painting was then exhibited at the museum throughout the two month exhibition. Triton Museum of Art

The Return to the Farmers Market Exhibit celebrated the coming of spring and the reappearance of the Farmer's Markets. Artists participating in this exhibit were Skip Andreae, Bonnie Carver, Lorraine Catania, Marnie Dufau, Suzanne Elliott, Giny Falcone, Michele Hausman, Carol Jeneid, Anna Oneglia, Jean Thomas, and Melinda Vahradian.

Los Altos Rotary Club's Fine Art in the Park. This was Michele's first appearance at this show, which is a premier showcase for original fine art in Northern California.

Michele joined the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters' Association at the Big Sur Arts Initiative's plein air event . She created a set of paintings over 3 days at various Big Sur area locations, for exhibition Saturday and Sunday at a "Wet Paint" exhibition at the Village Shops in Big Sur. Michele has been invited to return to King's Mountain Art Fair, the premier Northern California outdoor Art Fair, in beautiful Woodside, California, just south of San Francisco. All 3 days of Labor Day Weekend, 10 AM - 5 PM. Breakfast served at 8 AM. Stroll through the redwoods viewing the fine art paintings, sculpture, watercolors, photography, and many fine crafts with the opportunity to meet and make purchases direct from the over 100 artists and craftspeople. This is the one time each year that Michele opens her studio to the public. This is a chance to meet Michele in person, talk with her about art, and see both recently completed paintings and paintings in progress. Michele will also provide displays describing her process, such as photos of paintings in various stages of development and an open palette where you can see how she selects and mixes colors.

This is a wonderful opportunity to find the perfect original painting for your home while learning about the painting from the artist herself!

Boats, Beaches and Boardwalk: A show of original oil paintings presented by the Santa Cruz Oil Painters, a group co-founded by Michele Hausman. This exhibition includes several paintings by Michele, including coastal landscapes such as the image of Santa Cruz's famed Boardwalk, shown to the left. plein air study for the commissioned painting

Running of the 35th Annual Wharf to Wharf Race. The Race Committee, in partnership with York Gallery, commissioned Michele to create the painting Coast to the Finish for the event poster. The poster, featuring Michele's painting, is available through York Gallery beginning in June of 2007.

Michele will be available to sign Coast to the Finish posters at the end of the race in a booth provided by York Gallery. With 15,000 registered runners, and nearly as many just "running for fun" behind the numbered participants, this is one of the premier running events of the summer.

Le Poulet Restaurant is located on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley's "Gourmet Ghetto." By featuring 8 of Michele's paintings on their walls, Le Poulet joined a number of other local businesses with satellite exhibits of ACCI artists for the kickoff celebration of ACCI's 50th birthday party. Michele's exhibit there is featured in the Friday evening art walk programs.

The ACCI Gallery in Berkeley California, is showcasing their annual garden show, appropriately named Lush Life. This exhibition features both sculpture and wall art by and about gardens and enjoying the lushness of life around us. Four paintings by Michele Hausman are in the exhibition, including Pepper Pile, shown here. The gallery is located at 1652 Shattuck Ave in Berkeley and is open 7 days a week. Beauty of the Coast: Presented at the Costanoa Resort and Conference Center on California's beautiful Highway 1 halfway between San Francisco and Santa Cruz. The resort is located just off route 1, south of Half Moon Bay and north of Ano Nuevo State Preserve. This one woman show includes roughly 25 recent Central Coast Landscapes by Michele Hausman.
